After staying up until 4 (or later) most nights this past week, MythTV is finally installed and working, though there are a few ... quirks, though some of those are with the system itself..

1. The MySQL installation is screwy and requires a bit of TLC after each system restart
2. The ivtv (TVTuner Driver) module doesn't automatically load, so MythTV won' ( Read more... )

MythSetup recognized the tvtuner card

currently populating the MythTV database with lineup information from labs.zap2it.com

This makes me very happy ^_^

I can't find a good Linux client for Exchange... Ximian Evolution (with the Ximian Connector) works okay, but not goddam well enough for what I need. For just messaging through exchange, having shared calendar, etc, it works fine for me. What I need is access to public task folders. Ximian Connector goes over OWA ( ( Read more... )
