My youngest daughter graduated from college, yayyyyyy! The Chicago Institute of Art, she does the Pixar sort of art, the World of Warcraft things? anyway, she's looking for work, and hopefully she lucks into something. She graduated one of the top students of her year, and helped win a group Best of Show recently. She's simply an amazing artist.

I went to the most amazing thrift store yesterday! It's The Fish in Hale, Michigan; awesome place, huge, and everything yesterday was a quarter. A quarter! Hey, the first Flash Challenge since the site do-over is up :-). It's a different set-up and all, so leave extra time to figure it out. We send an email, get the trigger, write to the trigger for (under) 90 minutes, and then send the story in, in email. Interesting, huh? I've got three stories now to put in their edits into the computer drafts, so hopefully I'll get another story out in a few days. I was working on one of them, editing it, but I keep getting to this one scene and it just all bogs down. I need to rethink it, and re-imagine it, perhaps.
