I have a ton of grasshoppers in the yard, and OMG carnage.
That *was* a pepper. Looks like lace. I am seeing why the former owner left us with a ton of pesticides.
What to do when you'd rather not use pesticide, though? I have no qualms about napalming the weeds in the gutter with Roundup, but I'd rather not use that stuff around things I'll be eating.
So... glue gun + paint stirrers + window screen = pepper tent. (For some reason, I could hear angeldye in the back of my head saying "motherfucking PEPPER TENT!" as I was making this.) Light, water and air get in, grasshoppers stay out. Try to get through this, you leaf-eating bastards.
