Although I didn't give a high grade to the book I finished this week, I did prove my point --> I can select a Kindle book that I already own but haven't finished yet, and push my way through to the end, even if I don't feel compelled by the book's flow.

I don't recommend it.  Imaginative, witty, but ... nah.

And, the FMJ has already caused chafing, that was fast.  I'll have to ease into wearing it as my skin toughens up.

I'm going to have lunch here with K, and then it looks like a night to self at the condo. I texted with Tod -- he's grumpy about something but he didn't ask me to come back home. I don't know how long it has been since I've devoured fiction novels at this pace, sometimes one per day. I started this book yesterday evening, and I'm about to finish it as I fall asleep, all 332 pages.

As I steer myself away from reading news & current events to short stories and novels, I find that I'm feeling pretty hungry for particular types of writing: lusty and emotional, sexy and violent ( Read more... )
