Nothing is more amusing on a quiet Saturday than seeing one of three chickens going through a big molt! Deliah the Delaware is almost all pin feathers under her belly to her tail. The last of the stuff from the previous owners plus our own adventures in painting and cleaning was taken to the free haz mat event at the local dump. Glad to see it all go which gives us an idea of what is left to use up for painting, planting and spraying the trees ( Read more... )

Three days to the gym this week. Right on! Go me! Did a bunch of errands this morning but alas did not find one thing I was looking for. Martwall did not have steel trash cans-which is a shame because they would be way cheaper there. I am getting an unwanted less in how to worm chickens. Betty is the one I think whom is the most infested chicken but two others I think have some worms as well. to Wall mess mart to get some cat litter, deodorizer for said cat litter, some cat food, spinach for the chickens and lotion. Then it was off to the feed store to get the chickens some more chicken food.
