Nothing is more amusing on a quiet Saturday than seeing one of three chickens going through a big molt! Deliah the Delaware is almost all pin feathers under her belly to her tail. She will probably look that way for several weeks. Hopefully the weather won't be too cold at night but I am getting some scratch today so they can generate heat in the coop.
It is kind of chilly right now so I am going to have some warm food before going out to get cat food and scratch. Mom got some favorite soup so I'll have that tonight along with a long awaited salad.
I also have to stop by Home Depot to possibly get a plumping part for the laundry room sink. As it is unfortunately attached to the kitchen sink it is stopped up to the point of leaking. Might need a part or maybe replaced but its a common plastic piece so I think I can do it myself.
Discussed with Mom possibly disconnecting those sinks and making it my own place. Dishwasher down there not in use but maybe we can move it and instead put an electric stove instead so I can do canning down there as well as cook occasionally. Of course I would put an garbage disposable down there so sink stop ups are fewer.
