Haz mat dumping

Oct 16, 2010 13:11

The last of the stuff from the previous owners plus our own adventures in painting and cleaning was taken to the free haz mat event at the local dump. Glad to see it all go which gives us an idea of what is left to use up for painting, planting and spraying the trees.

Also it forced me to take a hard look at what is in the garage so we can clean it out for good. I need the old shed empty so I can start tearing it down to make room for the mini barn/shed for the garden and animals.

I drew up what I want it to look like but I know nothing of building something like this. Usually if something is already up I can work around it but this time I need like specific things done. The goats need places to relax/give birth. I need a milking parlour complete with hot/cold running water. Roof vents for our hot summers along with a place to store not just the goat food plus grain but the chicken's food as well.
Man it sounds complicated especially wiring for electricity & water! I probably could get away with small solar kits and the water issue can be solved two part by using rain water then filling the containers with water.

Still lots to plan!
