It continues to remain a mystery to me how one can produce so much mucus. I no sooner blow my nose, than I have to blow it again, with equal, or even more mucus that time. According to the email I just got from Cat, Mr Cannon died.  I have no details other than it happened on Saturday morning (google is failing me), but if I find anything out, I shall post.  ETA (3:30pm): Cat says it was from pancreatic cancer, and that he went downhill very quickly after being diagnosed. My ears are not naked for the first time in two weeks, and it feels really weird.

They don't hurt too badly right now, so hopefully this won't end badly.

There was just a giant spider crawling on my wall.  Why do the bugs like me so much?!  Megan the RA called security for me, and I think they came and took care of the five wasps while I was gone this afternoon.  But I got home around 5 and there was one stuck between the panes of glass, and then two more appeared a little later.  I've closed that ( Read more... )

Sometimes I really hate computers.  Like today.  They won't cooperate.  And neither will their operators.  See that sign right next to your monitor that says "Do NOT turn the computer off!"?  Yes?  Then why did you turn the computer off?!  I do not appreciate having to tramp all over campus because people cannot read a simple sign and follow ( Read more... )

My brother got his senior pictures taken yesterday.  I can't believe he's a senior in high school already.  It seems like just yesterday he was a cute chubby little three year old who played with Thomas the Tank Engine trains all day long.  Wow, I feel old saying that last sentence.  Everyone's been debating over the pictures for the past day.  ( Read more... )
