Today I have:

- Watched and translated a video clip for Conversational ASL, but don't know if we're supposed to do anything else with it.  The syllabus says "discuss", but what should I discuss?  That I had to watch it in 3/4 time because he signed fast?  That yes, communication problems do happen in college?  That students haven't asked me for "dirty words" here, unlike in high school?
- Reread the parts of the "Subjects and objects" chapter in my green book that I did not understand, in preparation for our midterm on Thursday, but did not gain anymore understanding than the first time I read it.
- Read the first part of the pronominalization section, which is so far more understandable than the subject and object section, but that may not be saying much.
- Sent out an email about the ASL club having Peter Cook here to all the schools in the metro area with deaf/hoh programs and all the Deaf schools in the state
- ...including the oral school for the deaf
- Worked on my presentation for Deaf Awareness week a little
- Tried to study for the quiz in dance tomorrow

My right ear doesn't hurt very much, but the left ear is making up for it.  It hurts worse than yesterday, and worse than most of the week.  It's upgraded from red lightning through my ear to silver lighting through my ear.  I finally took 1000 mg of tylenol instead of 500 mg, and that's helping a little.  I'm not dizzy any more, but I wish my ears would stop hurting.  It's been almost a week.  Is this turning into one of those nice weeklong earaches where my hearing gets worse?  Hmm...maybe we should take bets.  That might make things more interesting.
