For Thanksgiving, Sam came up to visit me and that was fantastic too.  She came up on Wednesday and we got in, had some Chinese food and then went shopping for Thanksgiving.  After we came home, we packed away the stuff and then watched Love Actually which i'd never seen but i loved/hated immensely.  I love Bill Nighy and Thomas Sangster.  I've ( Read more... )

funnies moment of today: our ASL teacher asks the class, so is "scissor" a noun or a verb (ya know, to make sure we know), and we of course say noun, but Renzo is like SCISSOR!  And in that sense it's totally a verb...gotta love south park ( Read more... )

I forgot to mention that I did some wicked stuff while mechanicing a deck of cards yesterday.  What happened was that I dealt out a pair of aces (clubs and hearts) to myself and a pair of shit cards to my opponent in the standard Hold ‘em way.  I burned and turned and by sheer dumb luck, ended up with a 2, 3, and 4 on the flop in clubs, a 5 of ( Read more... )
