So the original apartment that Jessica and I were set to move into fell through. The landlord, scratch that. The landlord's daughter is a crazy woman. She waited 5 days, holding our money and wasting our time, before asking for another credit check and eventually a 2nd cosigner. She was unprofessional, rude, and just plain crazy. Psyched! This is my first REAL friday. I have worked 5 days and now I have 2 days off- no more of this work 5 days and then 1 more nonsense. I've come to realize that the change in jobs was really good for me. My body has been pretty tired but my spirits have been up lately. So far I love my job. I have a title, Assistant Reservation Coordinator; I have a desk, with a great view of the Boston Commons; and I work with odd characters but good people. SO I'm week 2 into my new job. So far so good. I don't dislike anyone yet, and I would have to say for the most part I even like pretty much everyone. It's a small office- right now there are 13 of us total but a couple of them aren't in the office all that much. So it's been almost a year coming but I finally got a full time, benefitted, salaried job! I'm very excited- scared as hell but excited non-the-less.
