Wake up, eat breakfast. More conversation with additional new people, planning and some confusion about the room. Then, bundle up and go out driving. Hit the museum, see lots of stuff. Including a pretty amazing immersive geophysical data visualization. Lunch at a rustic sandwich joint, and then to the ice park ( Read more... )

...involved a big breakfast, meeting nice folks, milling about, renting a car, driving a bit, buying some stuff, a fantastic lunch at a Thai place that used to be a coffee bar when I was here last, more driving about, and seeing the finish of a weekend mushing race:
