Totally watching the Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2 premier live on Youtube right now.
Two things about this make me want to weep:
1) If I had stayed in London for longer I could have camped out at Trafalgar Square and actually seen the mock Diagon Alley they've built for the premier. And possibly seen J.K Rowling, the woman who has ( Read more... )

That horrible moment when you've got a preliminary report due next week but you haven't done enough work or collected enough data to write a report on. Urgh, I'll pull something out of my ass. That awkward moment when you walk into a store and realise you're wearing the exact outfit on the mannequin. Half my wardrobe now consists of Topshop, look how generic I have become.

So I spent Saturday at a Borders warehouse sale where I bought 20 kilograms worth of books for a fiver each. I'm not sure how I'm going to get them back to Australia ( Read more... )

It's hard to believe that this is my fifth Christmas on Livejournal. FIVE YEARS, reallyNot much to say that hasn't already been covered in my previous four Christmas blogs. The amount of neglect that this blog has been subjected to is saddening. Oh for the days when I used to blog twice a day; apparently I used to be that obsessive. It's exam time and my thoughts are all incoherent. Here's a list, because everyone likes lists.

Holy crap, just spent the past four hours staring at Excel and now it's 4am.
And now I'm going to spend the next hour listening to The Convenient Marriage audio book, because I'm lazy like that. FINE, YOU GOT ME, IT'S NOT BECAUSE I'M LAZY, IT'S BECAUSE RICHARD ARMITAGE NARRATES IT AND HE HAS A REALLY SEXY VOICE.
