We are re-doing all the upstairs closets: my fabric closet, the nursery (which used to be my costume closet, which means somehow all my costume stuff needs to get merged in with the fabric), and both the closets in Aaron's office.

I went back to the Container Store with the garage measurements. We now have a carful of Elfa shelfas. I'm looking forward to getting the garage organized; since we have no attic or basement, it's our only option for long-term storage for things like luggage, gardening stuff, and holiday stuff ( Read more... )

Let me first say that I have no quarrel at all with the Container Store, whose customer service is what I expect to get in the afterlife, or I'm not going. After getting advice from Alice, I got a quote from an arborist for replacing the trees ($2500-3500 for full grown ones, yeek!), and Aaron talked to the builder. He seems pretty amiable and willing to make amends; even came out today and had his workers put down straw on the disputed triangle to prevent erosion.
