I love having a timetable done
I hate timetabling around ego's where there is a perception that the people you're paying are doing you a favour by letting you pay them therefore you need to pander to their every whim.

Two of the part time staff that I supervise have formed a Queen tribute band with two of the current students in the school. They've been working longer hours than I do for WEEKS creating and recording backing tracks and rehearsing and what-not and it all culminated tonight in them filming their act to send to promoters ( Read more... )

Theoretically on a Thursday night I should really be in Deptford at "Horde" doing extra practices for my upcoming stage combat examination. Day started off slightly rocky and continued into a 2+ hour management meeting at work where we got grilled about whether we were happy with things or not.
The verdict is still out as to whether or not I have more or less respect for him after that - but whatever.

Bottom line, I'm exhausted. I hereby resign from the waking world.

People at work are thankful I talked to the reasonable director and might get off their asses to do some talking themselves.
Tomorrow night holds an evening in the pub with friends.
Saturday may hold an afternoon of tourism and pub with friends.

Got news at work today.
They tentatively want me gone middle of May ... that's a month before my lease here is up and my earliest hope for leaving, and 2.5 months earlier than I thought they were keeping me for.

This came as ... a bit a shock to say the least.
