After sleeping the vast majority of the morning away, desertrowan and I headed out into the nearly-Summer weather for a bit of a walk, a bit of shopping, and eventually some book reading down on the South Bank. Two of the part time staff that I supervise have formed a Queen tribute band with two of the current students in the school. They've been working longer hours than I do for WEEKS creating and recording backing tracks and rehearsing and what-not and it all culminated tonight in them filming their act to send to promoters ( Read more... )

The irritability of last night was gone by this morning. I still wasn't keen on going to work, but by the time I got there I basically just put in an honest days work and came one.
