Got news at work today.
They tentatively want me gone middle of May ... that's a month before my lease here is up and my earliest hope for leaving, and 2.5 months earlier than I thought they were keeping me for.

This came as ... a bit a shock to say the least.

I feel as though I've not had a good day all week. Good moments yes, but a good day no.
Maybe my standards are too high - either of good, or of good day.

Went to St. Albans today with desertrowan it was grand - very picturesque, nice pubs, good food and beer, gorgeous market with a much more rural feel than the ones in London. Overall a pleasant day ( Read more... )

First off, they're called "Toilets" here. It still throws me off when someone talks about going to the toilet, or seeing something in the toilet, or chatting with someone in the toilet ... I just can't figure out how they manage to do all of that in one small bowl ( Read more... )
