Trying to clean my desk, but can only manage one third of it. Should clean, like, the whole house and then my head. But don't think I can manage that today either. It's a national public holiday today to celebrate our nation biscuit, the Anzac biscuit. Nom.

For once, I am proud to be an Australian. Today Australia said sorry to the Stolen Generation. It is a step forward, a step towards reconciliation, a step towards healing. It's been a long time coming. It makes me hope for a better Australia, an Australia in which moments of pride are not one-off occasions, years or decades too late.
