I had a flash of muse during my lunch break and wrote this poem. The original first word was Millions but Kimberly suggested a non quantifiable term might work better with the theme so I pondered it a bit and went with immeasurable. Minuscule aureoles blooming and merging
Perfection warps reaching for universe end
With every blink worlds are loss to memory

Chiseling into illusion with each stroke
Font flows down a black electric river
Symbiotic union births waking dreams

Heart pounding faster then breath
Dry streets empty at the first drop
Warm rain soaking into warmer flesh
New puddles demand be conquered

Death mixed with salt remains liquid
History echoes in calm frigid depths
Iron fingers reaching for remembrance
Coal hanging from a chain whispers
