Poetry time

I have been playing around with some
new poetry again. It has been awhile
since I made myself sit down and try
to see the world sideways again. I do
my best work when I focus on the small
things. I confess I have gotten a little
rusty but I don't think they are that bad.

Commuters Dream
----------------------------
Miles pass unobserved
The silent sleeping masses
The city stands mute and dark
The lightest dusting of sinister
With the rising of the sun
Life will flow to fill dark crevasses
Noisy bustle
Whose magic is of a different flavor
Quiet potential
Intrinsic in the soft ebony curtain
Rolling miles out past the window
The twilight's first bus
Traveling the long days mobius loop.
Moments of fragile sapphire violet.
A rare vintage with a unique bouquet
Savored by a handful few
Traveling the silent miles
Nipping at the heels of Ra and Apollo

Hand Cream Jungle
------------------------
Silky ivory rivers flowing
Dry crevassed pink valleys
Landscapes merging polar textures
Sky falling crushing sliding

Blink
-------------
9:45 36
Mead notepad open to
blue lined yellow paper
9:45 39
Pen cap tastes metallic
in my mouth
9:45 42
Attention span wavering
9:45 45
I'll come back to it
latter
9:45 48
