So much has happened since my last posting in early May. Obviously, I haven't had a lot of time for blogging. Facebook status updates have been about all I've done. As an update to my earlier post, I got everything done with 5 minutes to spare, enough to grab my coat, keys, purse, lunch, and whatever else. Tomorrow I'll try doing this at the actual time I need to be doing it, of course. DH claims it never took him more than 25 minutes to get to work. Well, that was a bust. I start the new job next week. With that in mind, this week I was supposed to be awake at 6:30 every day, and "out the door" (re: done with everything but grab my coat/keys/etc) by 8am. If only I had SLEPT last night. *happy dance* I have a new freelance client, one I'm quite excited about. I requested a small project to start, due to the new work hours, and they obliged. I don't start until Dec 15, which gives me time to get some stuff together, but apparently my interim clearance came through this morning. The clerance process will continue, btw, so anyone I talked to about it will still likely get a packet from the government in the next few months. I just applied for my first full time, permanent position in 5+ years. First I have to get it. :) But, if I do, I may just have consigned myself to an indeterminate period of nothing but sleep, eat, and work until my body gets the hang of it.
