Looks like another electric car is due to come out in 2010. Chrysler has a little commuter called a "peapod" that will come in 1 seat, 2 seat, or utility van versions. The range is only 40 miles, which would be too short for suburbians like us, but it'd be great in a car or for local errands.

Last week, we took the Smart to Ikea (which was funny, when you think about what a wee trunk it has). One of the things I bought was a French press coffee pot. It makes a lovely, rich cup of coffee...and leaves a mess of grinds behind. Anyone know a good way to get them out easily?

I hurt a LOT. I can't imagine what I'm going to feel like tomorrow. I ended up packing up most of the books & videos that were leftover and then moving those boxes to another area. So, today, I had jury duty. Got up at 5am, out the door by 6am. DH drove the first leg to his office, because it was rainy & windy. We hit McD for breakfast, and then I drove him the rest of the way. Back to Rt 78 and to Elizabeth. Had to detour around an accident, thank goodness for GPS. GPS which then gave me poor directions, so I had to go ( Read more... )
