*RISES FROM THE DEEP*
It's been forever and a day since I've posted on LJ (Tumblr stole my online soul) but I got my HLH shortcuts assignments today, and it seemed as good excuse as any to put my LJ hat back on!
Yay for Highlander Ficathons and, after a bit of lurking on my assignment's LJ, I think I have just the story for then :-P -
I love it when my evil plan comes together....
I've just had my nominations for this year's yuletide approved! Between this and hlh_shortcuts ( whose sign-up page is now active. Hint, hint.), I shall be a busy and happy fanficcer. New Highlander fic!
hlh_shortcuts opens for business today - and it's the ficathon's 5th year running. Wow! It really doesn't seem that long.
I'm off to my Job's Christmas party tonight and I'm looking forward to coming home, slighly tipsy, to find new fic in my inbox!

Because I can get weirdly proactive sometimes...
I set up a 'collection' over at AO3 yesterday for the hlh_shortcuts fics so people could add their stories. Obviously some thought this was a good idea as a few authors have already added their stories - yay!
