Just returned from the gala première of Dragonball. While I dun get wat's so gala about it without any of the stars, it was nice cos we were early and I chose the best seats, imho, which were in the middle of the cinema.

Gah. Remind me never to have tea of any sort at dinner. Headed down to The Cathay yesterday to catch Black Book at the Picturehouse. I must say that it’s very good tho a bit slow at one point. But that’s probably cos at that point I was wondering if the show was ever going to end. It started promptly at 6.30pm or so and ended at 9pm.

Rounded out the year with watching Vexille. Had wanted to catch it on the eve of the eve but wasn’t showing at Cineleisure so bought the tickets from the self ticketing machine. Last time can still buy tickets from the counter and get the UOB 12% discount but they purposely force us to use those machines if we wanted to buy tickets for another ( Read more... )

Watched Dead Silence on Saturday and Bourne Ultimatum on Sunday. Both shows were pretty good but the plot of Dead Silence was somewhat of a letdown.

I think I watch way too many movies. Caught 881 yesterday in the afternoon for the 4.20pm show and there were all these uncles and aunties watching it too. When queuing up for the tickets, one aunty asked if this was the queue to get tickets. Oooo, virgin movie watchers ( Read more... )

Today was a pretty dreadful day... but the night was not so bad... ^_^

Met Bro Jo for lunch at Simlim and then went to change this faulty mp3 player door gift from my office function... He got some DVD+Rs for his sister. And of course, it rained so I was half drenched my the time I got back to the office. Water seeped into my right shoe... :(
