Found a limerick I had written down and never posted, so I thought today would be a good time to place it in this blog. No idea when I wrote it (it was in an old shoebox which is filled with notes).
Her eyes were as blue as the ocean
Her lipstick a dangerous potion
But what made her spell
Exciting as hell
Was her wiggle, her walk, and her motion
Played my 2666th game of Free Cell on this computer today. Yeah, big whoop.
I enjoyed seeing Big John win The Biggest Loser. If there is one thing my state produces is it losers LOL. Ali was a `zonan too I believe. Anyhow, losing 220 pounds has got to set one's life on a new path.
Survivor finale on the way this weekend and I have no clue who to root for. But, it was a fun season all told. I guess rooting for Ozzy would be the obvious, as the odds seemed stacked against him. I never would have believed that the two former players would get this far, but both apparently are better than I ever thought they were. I think I would most enjoy seeing Sophie win since this has been such a faux macho testostrone-filled season.
Christmas shopping appears to be done. Now I just need to get some boxes and wrap (that or go back to putting gifts in brown paper bags and stapling them shut). I went into Wal-Mart and it was a zoo. Wall-to-wall people and nobody seemed to see anyone else. Every cart placed almost directly in the middle of the aisle. Argh... people just do not care how they impact others. My last gift will be a fruitcake and a bottle of eggnog for me. One of my fave once a year treats for the day after Christmas.
