We arrived at the Shelter about 6:30 in the morning. Hot and Sticky and promise to only get hotter as the day went on. Audrey, Emily and me filter out of the church bus along with 8 other volunteers from the Church. Watching the news and quite frankly, it isn't worth watching. In the midst of all that is going on, War in middle east, economy that continues to get worse, gas prices continue to rise as well as food prices. Just another day and almost another dollar. Worked 10 hours on a really nice sunny day. I had to pick up Audrey on the way home and we meet Melanie at home and went to Taco Bell and then on the way home stopped by Dairy Mart for some great ice cream.
