I am tired. But, yesterday was good. For Latin, we changed gears for homework and were supposed to read 11 lines of graded Cicero. I had gathered a study group of 4 other students by this point. So, Meghan and I spent 4 hours doing Latin homework on the first day. The vocabulary in the review text is pretty dramatically different than what we had in our first year textbook - we were looking up every fourth word ... and coming to the conclusion when we found the meanings that we'd legitimately never seen these words before, not just that we ( Read more... )

So, I’ve just sent off my first completed data set to my program manager. Hopefully she’ll be sending me my next set within a few hours. I’ll be spending this whole weekend working on that while dog-sitting. So, I have internet in my house again. Yay!

I got my training document back scored from my program manager at Butler Hill, and I got an overall score of 83.7%. I’m not happy with that, but it’s decent enough for the first go, especially since I’ve been able to look at it and learn from my specific mistakes because their system of critiquing is very ( Read more... )

Writing Progress Yesterday: I wrote about 350 words on the short story; I’m now at about 4.5 thousand words and 16 pages. For the novel, I finished another Character interview and had to set up a timeline for the back-story.
