I have made my first ever quilt square!!!!!!!!  Its not exactly perfect but it is pretty.  And how did I make this amazing thing? ....why with my brand new sewing machine of course!!!!!  WHOOO HOOO!  Wow do I feel crafty.  I am now going to go and work on the 2nd square.  I will have to make 12 in all.  So bascially I feel like I will never finish ( Read more... )

Took a half day sick day today.  I think I finally got what was going around the school last week.  UGH!!  I slept from noon to 7 today.  So that would explain being up at 11:15 at night and still having the trumpet section coming in a 7:30 tomorrow morning.

Well I'm downin the apartment just hanging out with the cat (L.B.).  I've been putting in 6-10 hour days at school because of rehearsals and registration.  The band sold 175 bucks worth of band blankets and hoodies.  How exciting!  So basically I'm going to spend all of that on choral music for the year!  Can you believe it I'm buying choral music ( Read more... )
