I bought a thermos at the Columbia Outlet in Portland for $10, and it's been so nice to bring yummy tea with me to work every day.  Today I brought a blend of white pear tear and rooibos "rose garden," -- so yum!

My mom is awesome.  I called her after I got off work, and I talked through my anger issues of the day, and I feel so much better now.  She always (or usually) can make me laugh, and she's just gotten so chill and cool in her old age that it makes me want to be a bit less anal retentive.  Hip hop class helped too ( Read more... )

Some of you have asked me about the Angora fire in Lake Tahoe and how close it is to my parents home. Luckily, it's not close at all, really -- it's about 2-3 miles south of South Lake Tahoe (a city on the south shore), and since my parents live at the north shore, it's about 25 miles away.
