My Aunt Cathy made it through her surgery well, praise the Lord! Unfortunately, she's a bad and impatient patiend (hahaha :-p), so her recovery could end up taking her longer than necessary if she doesn't follow the rules. My aunt Cathie had a heart attack yesterday and is having triple bi-pass surgery tomorrow. She's very young (my dad's younger sister...mid 40's), thin, active and healthy. She is type 1 diabetic, but has that pretty under control and is a very careful eater ( Read more... )

Well, things picked up a little bit yesterday evening. I went out again to try to shovel my car out of the snow. A guy from down the road happened to be going by at the same time, so he got out his chain and tow rope and pulled me out. I should mention that last night I went to visit my brother at his apt. at MCC in Rochester.  I just went to hang out w/him and Travis (his roommate and one of his best friends from home, and my little buddy).  So, I go to leave and couldn't find my keys...anywhere.  Oh yes, they were locked in my car...right in the ignition.  BRILLIANT!  ( Read more... )

Well, we had Robert's graduation party on Sunday, which ended up being really fun.  There must have been a lot of people...this is the 4th of these things that we've had and almost all the food was gone.  That's never happened before!  Weird. :-p
