Well, we had Robert's graduation party on Sunday, which ended up being really fun.  There must have been a lot of people...this is the 4th of these things that we've had and almost all the food was gone.  That's never happened before!  Weird. :-p

I had to play the piano at the Methodist church on Sunday...fill in at the last minute.  It didn't go badly, but I haven't actually "played" in quite a while.  By that, I mean sitting down with some sheet music and playing for a sanctuary full of people.  Normally, I just play enough to plunk out some accompaniment for my choir at rehearsal because my accompanist can never be there, or I'm just reading chords.  I had to play all the hymns and choruses, accompany the soloist (Faure's "Pie Jesu" which is thankfully easy), as well as play a prelude and a postlude.  It went fine though, despite my nervousness.  I'm very thankful that my back was to the congregation, so I just pretended they weren't there.  I always get nervous playing for people like that.

Went to the movies w/my mom, bro, his girlfriend, and the Feller girls & their mom yesterday.  We saw "The Devil Wears Prada."  It was cute, but it's the kinda thing I probably would've enjoyed more if I'd just waited and gotten it from Netflix.  I really wanted to go see "Pirates", but I heard that it's a cliffhanger and not as good as the first one, so maybe I'll wait on that too.  Blah.

Well, I can't believe it's noon!  I must have slept late today...I woke up to the phone ringing.  It was a very interesting call from an old friend of my mom's for me actually.  I won't say more about it, but I guess I'm glad I got up to answer!

Anyway, I'm going to enjoy my couple of hours before work, and then it's off to the park I go.  I miss my friends!  Miranda and Jessica were there, and Jeanna & her daughter came to the party the other day, and that was awesome!  I haven't seen her in forever and her little Katie is seriously the coolest.  None of my others came though, so that was sad.  Oh well, I'll see them in another 3 months I'm sure!

Mkay...have a very blessed day one and all!  Enjoy the beauty of God's amazing creation and rest in the knowledge that you are loved by your God!
