There has been a lot of awesome in the past few days.

I spent most of the weekend staying up stupid-late putting movies in my Netflix queue and ordering lots of books because the prof teaching the fall quarter of the modern Japanese history course sent out his working syllabus. This is the most inconvenient I have ever found not really being comfortable driving. I am so close to being done with the move. So close! Today I will unload the van (thanks go to marinarusalka for bringing it around the block from where it was parked, yay). yoav_y, kaiyu, naohai, sirrogue, jainamsolo, yandros, and lemurtanis went above and beyond the call of duty tonight, moving not only my insane numbers of books but also the unexpectedly difficult furniture yandros and lemurtanis have passed on to me in order to avoid moving it to Seattle with them. I am absurdly grateful for all their help and definitely owe them all a nice dinner (at the very least!) at some point ( Read more... )
