people are amazing
yoav_y, kaiyu, naohai, sirrogue, jainamsolo, yandros, and lemurtanis went above and beyond the call of duty tonight, moving not only my insane numbers of books but also the unexpectedly difficult furniture yandros and lemurtanis have passed on to me in order to avoid moving it to Seattle with them. I am absurdly grateful for all their help and definitely owe them all a nice dinner (at the very least!) at some point in the future, after we have all recovered. Perhaps next week.
Tomorrow is also going to be insane, what with finishing up the rest of my move as well as helping with yandros and lemurtanis's truck packing in between speed-reading the assigned 135 pages of ancient Chinese texts discussing women (thankfully in translation) so that I can be at least marginally prepared for class in the afternoon (apparently I have decided to TA for two classes in Summer Session II; class 2-5 M-Th, whew). But for now, it is time to sleep. And be amazed all over again at how much we did tonight. Thank you guys so damn much.
