I have been a busy bee and not much on line this weekend.  I took DD2 to swim lessons in the morning and then came home and had a family meeting (weekly activity to discuss family stuff).  After that I went over to springbugmix 's to celebrate our birthdays with Merlin festivities.  Wheeee!  We had so much fun.  We watched 2.10 with the commentary and then 3. And the bush won.  Yesterday I spent a couple hours in the yard doing some yard work.  I pruned some Rose of Sharon trees and also some nasty thing from my neighbor's yard that had grown over the fence and was in my way.  It turned out to have these long nasty thorns.  And it was all tangled up in some vine.  I did not come out unscathed.

• dragged self out of bed at 8:30 (oops)
• got showered, dressed, and breakfasted
• barely managed to get DD1 out the door in time for school at 10:30
• drove DD2 around for half an hour for her to fall asleep (argh!)
• came home and ate lunch and futzed around on computer

So, I didn't get as much done as I was hoping because I spent something like four hours making some stupid chicken tortilla casserole. I don't even know how it took me that long. Grrr ( Read more... )
