Tonight I sketched some Lycanroc. It's a rock-type wolf pokemon. Here's mine from in game. Her name is Marcelle. The Pokedex entry says that "When properly raised from a young age, it will become a trustworthy partner that will absolutely never betray its Trainer." :)

I'm in an Ancient Near Eastern history/archaeology/language mood :) Time to dig out the Huehnergard Akkadian Grammar book! The Pokemon games always have a story, beautiful music and design, and a Pokedex to fill; but they're also filled with puzzles. I'm not sure how to describe them, but I think they're along the lines of logic puzzles. Today I was reading about Pokemon that are based on archaeological artifacts. You can actually see some of these in museums! They include things like ancient musical instruments, the types of mirrors mentioned in Exodus, clay figurines, and more. Here are a few of them, though I'm sure there are others that I've missed.
