Today I was reading about Pokemon that are based on archaeological artifacts. You can actually see some of these in museums! They include things like ancient musical instruments, the types of mirrors mentioned in Exodus, clay figurines, and more. Here are a few of them, though I'm sure there are others that I've missed. My friend Michael visited DC with me two Sundays this month. We had a lot of fun and he took some nice pictures from our adventures. ( see the photos )

This afternoon I had the good pleasure of meeting a friend from livejournal in person! grace_poppy and I had a fun time walking around the Natural History museum and chatting about all sorts of things - from Alaskan peoples to work adventures on the east coast. It was a really fun time - I can't wait to see how all the photos turned out :)

I went to the National Museum of American History today. I was darting about the exhibits in my Braille shirt and Capitals sweatshirt, camera and notebook in hand.

This past weekend, I attended the UBF winter conference. We studied the book of Ezra and heard a number of presentations on Biblical people. I presented on Mary.
