I've been reflecting on the Tower of Babel and the dispersion of language. I checked out the dates of some of the oldest languages and made a table to see what I might find. I need study.

It's just something that God has placed on my heart. While others are called to careers or families, I'm called to a life of study. I found a constructed script in a childhood journal a few months ago. I remembered designing it, but I didn't have a key to go along with it. I believe it's based on an English alphabet with a letter added for "dh" between "d" and "e". That's just a guess, though. I did a little digging into the third stone in the New Jerusalem... "The foundations of the wall of the city were adorned with all kinds of precious stones: the first foundation was jasper, the second sapphire, the third (chalkedon)..."

I was translating a verse from Ezekiel into Shivaisith and stumbled onto something interesting. The following two words, one Hebrew and one Greek, seem to be referring to the same metal and may be related to the alloy that in Latin is called orichalcumOrichalcum is in the Bible?! :D I remember it from the video game about Atlantis.
