Have felt particularly scattered, multi-tasked, busy, and mentally exhausted lately. I'm hoping that work will at some point become more familiar and settled, at least within my own mind. Whenever I read through Job, I find myself weary by the time I reach Elihu's response and thus read over it rather quickly. Last night, I decided to take another look at his words. I recently finished reading through the first book of Psalms (1-41). I was struck by how many of the psalms quote the words or thoughts of others. Here are a few examples:
