Last night officially marked my first all-nighter of med school.  I went over to Meredith's after church yesterday and basically hung out there studying with her and some of our other friends until about half an hour before the test this morning.  We're both severely overcaffeinated and sleep-deprived right now, but we made it.

I survived five tests and a number of other random shenanigans in the last week.  Yes, survived is the best word for it.  A quick rundown:

It's been a long day.

Woke up exhausted from workout/volleyball yesterday (and staying up too late because I'm a procrastinator), and proceeded to anatomy lab at 8 AM.  Today we were working in the gluteal region, which translated to two and a half hours of me digging out all the fat in a cadaver butt in order to expose the muscles underneath ( ( Read more... )

I joined an RP a couple of months ago.  I don't know.  Blame yamikonumber7 .  Anyway, the setting is based on the recent X-Men movies, with staff and students at a school for mutants.  Basically, any character from any work of fiction can join, with some form of mutant power based on what they can do in their original version.  This can be simple and obvious ( ( Read more... )
