So, if you missed the news somehow, Spider-Man 4 has been completely shelved. It was announced last night, just a few days after Sony had pushed back the release date (and Marvel Studios subsequently snagged the date for Thor). See, they did this thing two years ago where Captain America was "assassinated." He was killed. Yeah, right.

I said it then: "Steve Rogers will be back next year or the year after, probably on Independence Day."

Being right is nice, but not necessarily at the expense of the predictability of others.

Noticed over the past couple of days, that the big wigs at DC comics realize something that I thought pretty much from the get go - the last Superman movie was not all that good. Now, in fairness, I've not seen the whole movie. I have seen enough of it to know that it wasn't for me and I took issue with several things in it ( Read more... )

Apparently all that sleep yesterday was to compensate for being up at 4 this morning. An hour later, I'm still sitting here...though I do very much plan to go back to bed.
