Vulgaras have done a video for their version of Bang Bang (I think the song was originally done by Nancy Sinatra and appears in Kill Bill but I could be wrong). Love their version so much and the album Heavy Handed Heart is brilliant.

I have been listening to Vulgaras' new album, Heavy Handed Heart and I really like it. I liked year of the Whore, don't get me wrong but I think this one is even better as it sounds more focused. I got the new issue of Plan B which didn't have that much in it for me apart from a piece on the new Luke Haines book and a bit about the upcoming Zinefest in london. I think it's at the Women's Library on sat 24th January and they're having zine stalls/workshops/discussions etc ( Read more... )

I got the new issue of Mojo recently. It had a huge feature on Joy Division to tie in with the upcoming film by Anton Corbjin (or however you spell it) which could either be brilliant or a huge disaster plus they did a CD of depressing songs inspired by Joy Division.
