I got the new Birdeatsbaby CD, the EP Bigger Teeth. I thought it was OK although I didn't think there was anything that stood out quite as much as album tracks like China Doll or Miserable ( Read more... )

I've been listening to the new debut album, Here She Comes A-tumblin' by BirdeatsBaby and really enjoying it. Personally I find it a bit more towards the musical/orchestral sound of the likes of Rosin Coven as well as the more obvious Dresden Dolls influence but then I guess that's because they're a full band as opposed to a duo like DD. I got the new issue of Scarlet, it had a little interview with Little Boots --- I know she's playing up here soon but to be honest there's only one song of hers that I really like. Although that one song I REALLY REALLY like it. Also had an interview with Georgina Bailie of Satanic Sluts and an interesting article on straight men who make gay ( Read more... )

I especially enjoyed the Lydia Lunch interview and the piece on Youth of Killing Joke.
