School was canceled on Friday so people could ride up to the semifinal game in Louisville and not have to speed. Five buses came up, bringing about 300 or more of our fans to Central's stadium.

Kat and I rode up on our own instead of chaperoning one of the buses this time, since we were seeing Eugenie Scott speak at UofL on how to better teach ( Read more... )

Good turnout today, including several relatives that usually don't show up for the cookout. My aunt brought her new man, who passed with flying colors; my cousin-in-law dislocated his thumb playing softball; the baby is now walking and walking pretty well, and I lost 3 games of cornhole (the most unfortunately named game EVER) and 2 games of cards ( Read more... )
