My girl was badly constipated last week, so she went in to the vet's yesterday morning for an enema. They also gave her some fluids. I brought her home later in the afternoon. When I got up this morning I noticed that Riley was in and out of the litterbox. He must have gone in and squatted at least a dozen times in an hour and a half. I figured it was a bladder infection. Just took Riley to the vet to get his teeth checked. I'd noticed he wasn't eating much of his dry food and only licking the canned stuff. He has bad breath, too. Dr. T said he has gingivitis and gave him some painkillers and an antibiotic to make him happy again. He was only happy to come home! Last night I went out to the garage to look for my calendar book. Thought it might have fallen out of my bag inside the Jeep. A very large Collie/Shepherd mix trotted around from the side of the house and came towards me. Many years ago I had five cats -- just like now. They were Scotty, Geordi and the Marx Brothers.
