Happy Mother's Day to all you mommies out there!

So yesterday wasn't a continuous parade of excitement, but I think it's been one of my best days in a while. I just lazed around the house, got ready for Mother's Day, and spent some quality time with the nephew and a pail of sidewalk chalk.

I haven't actually gone out to embrace nature for a while. This fact was made clear to me when I took the children to Claude Moore Park on the nature walk.
