I got out the sewing machine I purchased last August.  I'm missing a 1/4 inch quilting foot from the parts list.  Oh well...it's not something I will be using anytime soon, still Robb had a point. Someone was in charge of that machine on the production line, and it's not ( Read more... )

1. It was sunny today! We've have entirely too much rain the last six weeks thanks.
2. Nyquil and Mucinex...I hate OTC medications, but at least I don't get griped at when I take them and sleep until 11am!

I went to knitting today - awesomeness- that's two week's in a row.  As long as gas stays low I can do that...while I have money that is.  There were a bunch of us, more than a dozen I think.  After coffee and my garlic/herb cream cheese filled pretzel, I sat down to work on the rectangular shawl for one of Annie's kids at TVUUC.  All the boys have ( Read more... )

Harvested some Thyme, Sage, and Apple Mint.  The whole house smells like it.  I love it in tea.  Don’t even need sugar with the stuff.  I am actually quite proud of my ability to shun sugar laden drinks now.  Slowly disentangling myself from sugar/white flour stuff.  No fries with the combo if I have to eat out.  Cheaper too.

I went to knitting this morning and showed off my first sock. I started off on circulars and couldn't make my brain process it, so in the middle of it, I transferred the sock to five double point needles.
