I worked both Saturday and Sunday this weekend. I love my job. But now that it's Summer, no one wants to go to the Museum and it has become very quiet :( This means I don't get as many shifts and that when I do, we have hardly ANY visitors there. Tis very sad. Went shopping yesterday and bought a few new pieces of clothing including hot pink rubber thongs for less than $6 as Target is having a 20% off footwear sale! Woot! Wallow is my new favourite word. I have been indulging in it a lot over the past two days - mostly due to a lack of money and subsequently having too much time to myself to think. But it's all good! Is it racist/wrong to be annoyed when tourists from the U.K and U.S.A (sorry Janelle!) expect free tickets to the Museum just for being over 60 years of age? Admittedly, we will give them free tickets (even though we don't HAVE to), it just pisses me off that they EXPECT them.
