It's all Good
Had a good weekend. Friday night involved a work dinner at the Duxton Hotel. I bought a new top and looked DAMN fabulous, and was reminded of this by work colleagues every 20 minutes or so. *love*
Saturday saw me going back to work and spending 1.5 hours (while getting paid) sitting in the replica ship chatting to Jennay and playing chess. (If my boss sees this I die!) After work, we went to see "The School of Rock" together which was pleasantly funny but not mind-shatteringly so. Then on to Automatic for dinner where quite possibly, the most delicious risotto of this year was consumed :) NYOM!
Sunday, I wallowed around a bit in the morning before finally showering and heading out. Zipped down to Huntingdale to get Divvy before driving back to Doncaster to Judy's place for a FAB BBQ. Many lovely people were present as were many children (eeek)! We watched Finding Nemo, consumed Chocolate Mud cake as well as just normal chocolate and there was much merriment :) Thanx for the invite Jude!!
After BBQing we went back to Chaddy and bowled (after a couple of games of DDR of course). I seriously sucked. I am so rusty. BUT, I *still* didn't come last in any of the games - so that's ok! After that was sleep time and now I am back at work again. Woot!
Even though the weekend wasn't amazingly exciting - it was GREAT and felt very full. That Friday night dinner seems like it was weeks ago! Now I just need a spanner and a screwdriver, I think, to change the number plates on my car. Can anyone out there help? Leave me a comment if you can :)
