Is it racist/wrong to be annoyed when tourists from the U.K and U.S.A (sorry Janelle!) expect free tickets to the Museum just for being over 60 years of age? Admittedly, we will give them free tickets (even though we don't HAVE to), it just pisses me off that they EXPECT them. All the other oldies are overjoyed when we tell them they can get in for free. But the first thing their U.S/U.K counterparts say upon arriving at the counter is "Our tickets are free, right?"
Adult tickets are only $6 anyway, which by British and American standards is like $2 to us. If they could afford to come over here in the first place it's obvious they're not hard-up for a buck. If us Aussies went to the U.S or U.K I can assure you there'd be no free tickets for us! They're so freaking stingy!
Having said that - I am always on the lookout for free stuff :P But I am a poor part-timer on the minimum award wage, man!
Bleh. My lunch did NOT taste as good as it looked.
I am SO impatient today.
That is all.
