CHAPTER SIX: GOING SLOW, BUT SPEED BUMPS AHEAD!
Eve had been in meetings most of the afternoon and at her first sign of a break, she grabbed a bottle of water and ducked into the nearest music store. She was looking for any TVXQ material that might be available, when her mobile went off in her bag.
"Eve, Preston here. Are you going to come down and see Yunho and Changmin?"
"Oh God, I almost forgot! Yes, I'm only a block away. I'll be right there!"
She rang off, running quickly from the store.
She spied Changmin right away and he quickly came over and gave her a hug, which Preston caught at once and gave a big smile to her.
"Glad you came by, it's nice to have your input on these since the article will be yours!" He grinned.
"No, the article will be ours, Changmin and yes, I wouldn't have missed it for anything. Though I almost did, this day has been hectic!" She sighed.
"Well, just have a seat and watch me work for a change!" He laughed and she backed toward the wall as he began his shots.
Changmin had a friendly smile and most magazines in South Korea and Japan had voted him the best looking out of the bunch. Today, he wore an emerald green short sleeved tee and dark jeans. Following with the theme of things, he was barefoot as well. She watched as Changmin worked effortlessly with Preston.
Leaning her head back against the wall, she closed her eyes for just a brief moment. She was tense again but not for the same reasons as before. She was worried about going on the road with TVXQ, worried about spending 24/7 with them each and every day. Still, her interest in them and in the whole project would benefit greatly from spending time with them.
She was trying to erase all worries from her mind when she felt two familiar strong hands on her shoulders.
"Yunho?" She said lowly and laughed.
"Yes?" She heard him answer and she shivered a bit but relaxed against him. It was so easy to do for he seemed to have the best temperament of the five of them and that was saying a lot- they were all so easy to like. Yes, even Yoochun was redeeming himself in her eyes for once.
Yunho felt her relax with the weight of her body against him. He smiled and buried his nose in her hair, inhaling the sweet perfumed scent of it.
"You changed your mind about dinner with me tonight?" He murmured for he was picking up vibes from her now that he'd not felt before.
"Hmm? Oh, about dinner... Well, I have Junsu's interview this evening and that includes dinner so...?" She said and leaned her head back, looking up at him. He laughed at the way she had her head tilted back against his chest and she smiled.
"That doesn't mean that we can't get together after you and Junsu talk. If I know him, he'll be back in the hotel room before too long to call his girlfriend and that leaves us free to go for a drink or just to sit and talk." He said softly.
"Well, I have an idea. It might sound a bit crazy but how about me picking you up at the hotel after I finish with Junsu? Probably around 9:00. We'll go to my place and go for a swim. How's that sound?" She smiled back up at him.
"Fantastic!" He grinned and she turned back toward Changmin, smiling.

Eve watched Changmin finish his shoot as Yunho disappeared to change and get his makeup done. She walked over to Preston, wanting to get his reaction to sweet Changmin.
"So, how did Changmin do?"
He looked at her, giving her the 'thumbs up' sign.
She was peeking over his shoulder when she saw Yunho enter and she turned her full attention on him. He was dressed in a deep royal blue shirt with zippered collar. Faded jeans with torn knees completed the outfit and Eve felt herself flush. This outfit was so unlike the Yunho she knew but it was doing amazing things for him. He looked totally sexy and his eyes blazed at her. He grinned at her too, indicating his bare feet.
These Korean guys! They had no clue what seeing their bare feet would do to millions of women and girls over the world. And she was here to say it was incredible.
Preston had Yunho lean back against the brick backdrop, legs apart, and lips pouting. Then squatting with his legs apart once more, hands between his knees. Eve found she had no reason to leave; she wanted to stay for Yunho’s entire shoot as well. He was playing well to the camera but Preston thought it more that he was playing to Eve. Something was there, it showed on film and it was amazing!
He glanced quickly at Eve who caught his eye and smiled back. Changmin walked back out and went to stand by with her, watching Yunho finish.
"Eve, did they all turn out well?" Changmin asked and looked at her.
"Yes, they did. We still have Junsu to go- that will be in the morning- but this is heady stuff, Changmin. It's gorgeous work. You will be amazed when you see them, I truly believe that."
"So you and Junsu... interview with dinner, right?" Changmin asked.
"Yes, what kind of food does Junsu like anyway?" Eve asked him.
"Oh trust me, he'll pick Italian tonight. He's already spotted a place not far from the hotel and he saved it just for you!" Changmin chuckled.
"Sounds wonderful and I think I know just where it is!" She smiled back.
By this time, Yunho had gotten cleaned up and changed and he walked back out to Changmin and Eve. He was glad she had decided to stay for his entire shoot. He had changed back into a pair of cargo shorts and a white polo shirt, along with sneakers and he had his bag slung over his shoulder as he walked slowly up to them. Eve smiled and watched him approach. He looked even younger dressed like that. But God, she'd give anything for him to wear his shoot outfit tonight when she picks him up at the hotel!
Her cheeks burned and she smiled up at him.
"I did ok?" He smiled, his luscious lips curving into a broad grin, showing a perfect set of white teeth that left her breathless.
"More than ok, Yunho. You were fantastic!" She smiled back. Changmin looked from one of them to the other and smiled himself.
Lucky Yunho, he thought to himself and decided to push off.
"Eve, I gotta run. I'll see you tomorrow, right? Thanks for coming by. Yunho, catch up with you at the hotel?" He called and Yunho nodded and smiled.
"So..." Yunho breathed. Eve turned to look back at him and held her breath.
"So...?" She repeated slowly and grinned. "I'll see you at 9:00 sharp, and then we’ll go swimming! Is that ok with you?"
It was more than ok with Yunho, he was totally chuffed now! But he only nodded and followed her to her car, walking with her.
"See you tomorrow, Pres!" She called and Preston nodded with a wave of his hand.
